We are looking for a motivated senior architect with minimum 10 years of experience, 7 years in preparing detailed design and tender documents, to join our architectural design team in Istanbul. He or she will plan, schedule, organize, draw (AutoCAD / Revit), coordinate and execute the design work on medium to large scale projects with periodic interaction with a Director/Principal.

 

Duties Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead the assigned team of Architects and Technicians (Draughtsman) on a day-to-day basis and ensurethat design excellence is achieved throughout
  • Responsible for the correctness, accuracy and complete multi-disciplinary coordination of the designdocumentation prepared by the assigned team
  • Coordinate and develop responses to review comments, tender queries, contractor’s queries
  • Responsible, with guidance from senior team members, for the preparation and compilation of designpresentations and design reports
  • Proficiency in preparing specifications is an asset
  • Awareness of BIM approach (Clash analysis, 4D, 5D, nD) is an asset
  • Appreciate the teamworking and able to collaboratively work within multidisciplinary and multi-cultural team

 

Qualities and Skills Required

  • Architectural degree is a must (B. Arch)
  • Minimum 10 years post graduate experience (min. 7 years in preparing detailed design & tender documents)
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
  • Extensive project experience, developed leadership, communication & presentation skills
  • Cordial relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Understanding of scope definition and scope interface
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, word processing and presentation programs
